The installationTrancecorporeal intends to manifest transcorporeal transits through a ritualistic approach. It is inspired by horseshoe crab’s blue blood and critical towards their commodification for medical purposes.
The artist gathers hydrofeminist sacred spaces, questioning what is sacred today. The visitor is invited to manifest invisible transcorporeal transits, performing symbolic manoeuvres of restitution to a bigger shared vessel.
Horseshoe crabs are synched with the tides and moon cycles. Visitors can listen to a spell told by a tide. Spells antiquely were meant to control natural forces, while here the spell "Be foam, Be soup" arises to voice non-human needs.
