Shuang Xu ( 1996, Teochew) is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and researcher who explores cultural narratives, situated landscapes, and migrant histories. She looks at the connections between non-native plants and the earth, humans, and history, embodying their stories through her own experience of migration. Her work is inspired by the transient nature of home and lands, challenging singular identities and cultures. Through fieldwork methodology and situated learning, she cultivates her practice, expressing her research through prints, performances, gatherings, and installations.
